Step-by-step: how to draw a fish
- 1
Draw an oval body
Make a sideways oval in the middle of the page. This is the fish's body.
- 2
Add a triangle tail
On the right side, draw a triangle that points outward — that's the tail.
- 3
Draw fins
Add a small curved fin on top and one on the bottom of the body.
- 4
Eye and mouth
Add a big round eye near the front and a tiny curved mouth shaped like a smile.
- 5
Scales & color
Draw little U-shapes across the body for scales. Color with blues, oranges, and a pop of pink.
Pro tips for parents & kids
- Add bubbles around the fish to show it's underwater.
- Use foil stickers to make sparkly scales.
- Draw a whole school of fish swimming together!
